For our 2023 Froghair Golf Classic, the Southwestern Youth Association (SYA) has chosen to donate a portion of the proceeds to support the Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (WFCM), a non-profit serving those in our area experiencing food insecurity and financial instability.  SYA and WFCM both serve critical roles in western Fairfax County, strengthening families and improving the health and wellbeing of our community.  

SYA is celebrating its 50th year of organized youth sports in the area and WFCM recently commemorated 35 years of service. Each organization has established themselves as a trustworthy and positive resource for the community. SYA has donated thousands of pounds of food and supplies to WFCM through various food drives over the years.  

WFCM has recently expanded to a second pantry, located next door to the SYA office in Centreville. Our geographic service areas have always over-lapped, and now as neighbors we look forward to supporting each other’s impacts.
